Test Match to Begin the Tour

One of the biggest changes in the revised schedule is the order of the series. Instead of starting with the ODI matches, the tour will now begin with the one-off Test match at St George’s Park in Gqeberha from December 9 to 12.

Following the Test, the teams will compete in a three-match ODI series before finishing the tour with three T20 Internationals.

This revised format provides both teams with valuable preparation across all three formats and allows players to gain more international match experience ahead of future global tournaments.

Three T20Is Added to the Tour

The addition of the T20I series is the biggest highlight of the updated schedule. The first T20 International will be played on December 26 at Willowmoore Park in Benoni, while the remaining two matches are scheduled for December 29 and December 30 at the NWC Oval in Potchefstroom.

The inclusion of these matches extends the tour from its original end date of December 23 to December 30, making it a full-fledged multi-format series.
